About Our School

Hanover Street School is a K–4 public elementary school serving approximately 275 students. As one of two elementary schools in the district, we provide a strong academic foundation with a focus on literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, supported by purposeful integration of technology across the curriculum.

Students also benefit from a well-rounded Essential Arts program that includes music, library, physical education, and visual arts. Hanover Street School is home to a robust Intensive Needs program that supports students with significant learning and developmental needs in a caring and inclusive environment.

Arrival and Dismissal

The school day begins at 8:00 AM. Students should arrive on time to ensure a smooth start to their day and to avoid missing valuable instructional time.

If your child will be absent, please call the school office at (603) 448-2945 to let us know.

Dismissal begins at 3:00 PM for walkers and students being picked up.
